It is not that the fats damage the molecules of either psilocybin or LSD, it is that they hamper or even prevent entirely the absorption of the molecules into the bloodstream.
And it makes no difference which type of fat, the effect is the same for ecerything from olive oil to peanut butter to cheese to lard.
