The restriction for imitrex is pretty standard...and all HMOs are not alike...but,
They generally have an "appeals" process. You need to ask them what that process is. Ours, for instance, requires a form faxed from the Dr and reviewed by a Dr at the HMO.
PITA, took a few days, but we are able to get the physical limit of two doses/day...rather than the invented limit based upon cost.
There's no point arguing with them over the existing RX....you're probably not talking to the right person.
If you think the nasal is great, try the injections. THEN, you can do the imitrex tip.
