Hi, 15 year sufferer here, After many wrong diagnosis'(deviated septum surgury, and all others) I was finally diagnosed about 4 years ago. Imitrex nasal spray is the only thing I have found that works if I take it at the start of a headache.
My cycle started 2 weeks ago and I went through the 6 Imitrex' I got through my prescription. My prescription has 2 refills available but my HMO (HMO Blue Texas) only allows 6 Imitrex a month. I have been battling with them for 6 days now, with no med's to help keep the demon out of my head.
anyone ever battle and win against their HMO over these headaches we all suffer from?
anyone have any ideas of what I can do to win this? I'm going to go to my doctor again and try getting a script for anything she can give me, but really nothing ever works for me other than the Imitrex.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
