Although clusters are about the worst curse imaginable for physical pain, almost everyone has their demons (although they may manifest as psychic rather than physical pain), and the worst of these must be faced alone, with little if any understanding from others. Over the years (too many, too many), I've come to realize that mine is a strictly personal battle, and I neither seek nor expect sympathy from anyone not similarly afflicted. There is, of course, this wonderful message board, which can be a life saver for anyone who finds it helpful to have feedback from those who truly understand. I hope you find the strength to cope with your clusters. I know it's hard to struggle against this, but try not to let the lack of understanding in the "real world" get you down. If one were in a generous, saintly, charitable mood, I suppose it would even be commendable to be happy for those who don't don't understand, because they, at least, are fellow human beings who are being spared the suffering.
