That you took the time to write says that you have not given up. Sounds to me that you are fighting. Keep on fighing.
People will not understand. it's hard, but for many of them it is so far from their realm of reality that we really cannot expect them to. Make an effort to stay in touch--at least a little. If you can get one of them to understand, perhaps to sit and read the informatin on this site, you will have won a battle. Ask--no, invite them to read the informatin on this site.
Fight. Fight hard. Keep us up to date, call the researcher. Print off some information and go to the local community clinic. Then go to neurologists and talk to their insurance people first--don't call for an appt, just show up and talk to the insurance person--bring your printed literature. Tell them you have no money and ask for help. You might have to see many of them, but there is probably one out there who will help.
