I'm under betablockers and ACE inhibitors for the high BP (no way, it is always high :-( ).
2 weeks ago my doc said me:"OK, let's try CCB (Verapamil) together, on the other hand you are a CH sufferer also!".
(I did not comment this last thing....If I am an episodic CHer, have I to take Verap for all my life, and expect that it will not function when I am in need?.....)
fortunately I have been read something on the NET about Betablockers and CCB together: a NO NO absolutely! I told him, and he said: "oh, if you don't want to take them all together, OK!"
OK?!? I don't want?!? read the sheets stupid! I don't want to take a MI!, I don't want to take a free trip to ER!, I don't want to change my blood completely!
Bah, all my comprehension to you and your wife ....:-)
