I'm strictly speaking of individual Cluster attacks. Quite obviously I have no idea when the "CH-process" started. Maybe when I was born (??).
I have no idea. The cause of CH is unknown; therefore, I don't know when my "CH-process" began. Sooooo, you're absolutely correct. I have no clue when the "CH-process" began.
I do have an excellent memory though. I also keep a detailed Journal. I also know EXACTLY where I was located, what time it was and my age, when I felt the pain of my first Cluster attack. I did NOT know that it was a Cluster attack though. I called them "headaches" for three years. (That's what I wrote in my Journal).
When I was finally diagnosed with CH; I then started writing "Cluster attacks" in my Journal.
Again; I wrote down my first Cluster attack on November 11, 1983. I have never had more than 14 days without a Cluster attack since that day. (This gives me quite a good recall to remember what the pain of a Cluster attack feels like).
Therefore; I have had "Cluster attacks" for 16 years and according to everything that I have read; that makes me a Chronic Cluster Headache sufferer.
Perhaps the "CH-process" began when I was born. IF that is the case; then I have had Cluster Headaches for 36 years.
I hope this helps you understand because I'm starting to think that I am repeating myself. :-)
