In our lives we have (not all, i noticed only the better people ....) bad times, so bad that we think as you "why i'm still here?!?"
I'm not very religios, but i think that are proofs to beat the Demon of death.
Living near the death can teach us to LOVE the life, although the terrible pains inside the loosing friends, parents, and so on.
Anyway this thing naturally increases with the age, the more you are old, the more you loss friends.
You have to start thinking you are still alive to help other (and you) to live better. And DO NOT accuse yourself of the death of your friends. If a friend need your help he ask it.
