Well, actually I had no oxygen at home so far.
I tried it last December during a cycle.
I woke up in the night (unprepared, stupid me) and
felt one coming on. I knew it would be a niner on the
scale, so I dressed, jumped into the car and set
up a speed record to the hospital. I didn't go to the
ER since where I live is a neurological clinic, where
the Professor is specialised in headaches and knows all
about CH. He once told me to go to the neuro-station
directly. There I got oxygen from the nightshift Dr.
It took about 20 minutes to get the CH away.
After that I felt very sleepy but I had to go home
again. The CH didn't return. Maybe it was the activity after
the oxygen that kept the CH away.
Since I am going to a Headache clinic here in germany on the
17th of August I will talk to the Doctors there about
it. Maybe they can give me a hint on the reason, why
the oxygen worked so good.
I will post a full report on my experience in the
clinic when I return (3 to 4 weeks stay.....)
