Carl,
Many people on the list have probably been denied. But even if you find someone who recieved benefits, it may not apply to your case because the disability is determined on your total disability including other factors that may be different in your case.
Better would be to do a search at the Social Security web page for appeals that were approved for situations similar to yours. Then use those in your appeal because they can set a precident.
Cluster headaches are not on the list of impairment. But if you suffer and are diagnosed with Depression that is on the list of impairments. If you are in a major city, look into hiring a lawyer in your area who specialized in Social Security. You do not even have to pay them until you win your case, let them earn their money and take some of the stress off you. They will let you know if you have a chance of approval.
Social Security Disability, is very hard to get but don't give up. As you progress through the appeals process your chances of approval increase, and let the lawyer worry about it. You worry about getting better and getting help for your depression.
Don't give up, just think of it as a challege to fight Social Security. And when you finally win you can treat yourself to something nice. Ex nice trip, good dinner, pay bills, etc.
Good luck
Mike
