I haven't gone to a neuro, yet. I am not even sure if I have cluster headaches. This probelm is new to me for about the last 6 mnths.
My primary gave me a pain killer (no diagnisis-i was in and out in 5 min).
I have'nt taken them.
I have taken extra-strength tylenol and migraine excederin. They don't help, but I still haven't taken the pain killers. It's sad but I am getting used to the constant numb pain in my left temple and eye. when it hits really bad, I can't help but roll around in bed or on the couch and cry.
I can't tell you how many times I have been standing in front om my medicine cabinet reaching for the painkillers, but I can't do it.
I don't want to have to deal with the pain and an addiction. That would only make my life worse. I am only 26 for gods sake! Addicted to pain killers! If they heldped I would be afraid I would abuse them. It's strange, I know.
Maybe I am in denial, but I think If i try I can find why this is happeneing to me and a natural treatment, maybe?. If not, an apporved medication that won't cause addiction. I am all for that!
