I think we all feel that, "I'm afraid, what if this isn't a CH...what if something is wrong inside my head? And what if they don't go away?" feeling in our guts. I know I did.
You begin to wonder, is it a tumor, or something deadly, because this just isn't a headache. It's like having your soul sucked out.
It helped me immensly to just read about the sypmtoms of CH and see how closely mine were. That helped me with the fear of something else being wrong. Plus, seeing a neuro can allievate some of that fear.
You were pain free for 3 years, and there is no reason to believe the pain will be back your whole life. It's likely you will have another long period of no attacks, and let's hope this lasts the rest of your life.
