Greetings;
Seven months off! A new Wyzrecord.
I was wondering if anyone else experienced
what I can only call 'dizzyness' or 'spaceyness'
during Clusters. Not the attack, but the 'on'
period of the year when CH are ubiquitous.
Almost every afternoon (and I had forgotten this
development whilst my CH were on vacation) I find
that I am spaced out, dizzy, disoriented; I cannot
adequately describe the feeling.
Anyway, hello to ya'll! While I haven't yet rolled
about and become 'Mr. Wonderful' towards the wife,
I have begun Not Sleeping and the afternoon Twilight
Zone feeling has begun. I've had a couple of shadows.
Oddly, it was my wife who first became aware of The
Return Of My Old Pal. She knows before I do when I
am beginning to get a CH. It seems that I stop talking, almost like the aural phase of an epileptic
seizure. While this thrills her to no end (haha) the
dead giveaway is when I start knuckling my forehead
right above my left eye. Pressing on that spot with
incredible pressure seems to slightly relieve the pain. Probably just a me thing.
I have my K tank standing by. Luckily, the VA has
given me access to oxygen FOR the CH. It took a
while, but finally they gave the green light.
I see my real doctor Friday, a new doctor since we
now have insurance. I hope I don't get the 'huh'
factor when I mention CH. (c:
I've tried Imitrex. It does send the CH away, but
at the cost of a rebound from Hell later.
Oxygen. That's about all that helps, that I am
aware of. I need to surf the site to see what's
new since I have been a bad boy and abandoned ya'll
during my reprieve. Wyz <--- Bad
Thanks for being here.
