I would greatly appreciate more info on this light therapy. It certainly makes sense - and anything to avoid medication is worth a try.
It is nice to know that I am not insane! I have had CH's for 7 years now and was finally diagnosed just this November. Mine also began just a few days after the birth of my first child. I did not have any attacks while pregnant with my second child, but they began again shortly after her birth. Of course, the doctors first thoughts are hormone problems or allergies. Unless they have had a CH, they cannot even comprehend the pain!
So far in the past 3 years I have spent over $25,000 on testing and medication. Then I found this CH site (what a wonderful feeling!)in Nov. and went to a doctor that a fellow victim on this site recommended. Not only was I convinced I had CH's, but so was the doctor. I also have chronic tension migrains for about a month before my CH's start (Nov) until they end (Feb). Right now I am taking 10mg of Paxil (completely took migrains away), Toprol (doesn't seem to help), and Imitrex shots. Oh, and part of my relief also comes from a punching bag and some boxing gloves - thanks to my wonderful husband! :)
Anyway, sorry to ramble on, but I am very excited to hear more details of the light therapy and your results.
