I am an emigrant if you want to put it that way. You see my forefathers came here with Jan van Riebeeck, in one of those 3 funny named ships or so I presume as there are so many nationalities in this lovely Southern tip of Africa(not much diff. than the USA). I just know for sure that some of my ancestors fought the bloody British (rooinekke) to get this country to become a Republic.
So presumably I'm a Boer!
I'm living in Kwa-Zulu Natal but that doesn't make me a Zulu, by no chance!
You can call me an Afrikaner because I live in South Africa or because I'm a Boer(which also means farmer) or because I can speak Afrikaans!
I know a lot of emigrants from Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, you know names change here like underwear and goverment officials.
We are very famous for our diamonds in the South West but to get them out is another story, but nothing is impossible depending on my cut, naturally!
Yes, Ernie is from SA, as Tiger is from USA.
In my younger days I danced at Sun City, believe that or not!
The only big game I shoot is through a camera, as I'm an artist and I love to put things on canvas then on walls. I don't believe in shooting things and putting the carcass on the walls.
Jas;)
