my local suppliers and simply ask if they can meet the net price. Would include shipping and handling charges to be fair. Many times the locals will beat the net price, in regards to meds, best to contact a privately owned pharmacy as opposed to some large chain.
Just by saying, okay, I will buy from the net after being told no, would hear, wait a minute, I can meet that price.
Would be nice if they published list and net prices of meds someplace for a reference, but face it, everyone is out to make a buck. You have the FTC on your side, but the paper work is a headache plus all those long distant calls. That happens sometimes, the bottom line is that you didn't save any money. Nice to deal with a local and meet him face to face. And a penny saved is a penny earned.
