you just need to be aware of the side effects...educate yourself and be very cautious about how you take it...I have talked to people with chs who eat them like m&ms cause they stop the pain...that is great that they take the pain away but what are they doing to your overall health? And these very people had no idea that prednisone masks the signs and symptoms of infection or any other side effect of it..Education is the key.. Sounds like you don't have to take them that often which is really good for you and you are educated which is a big plus. smiles,nancyc.
