I get the same pain / stiffness in my neck, on the headache side. Mostly near the base of the skull. If I turn my head too long to the right or try to take a nap sitting up and my neck is twisted, wham - headache.
I'm constantly trying to twist and loosen up the neck during a cluster. I wonder if there is an effected nerve that runs down that part of the neck. Guess I'll have to break out my new anatomy software and see what's in there (yes hub, I only got the anatomy software to look at the reproductive organs!).
