The endocrine system can get really really complicated...that is why I love it so much...it really makes you think...listen to this..You brought up a great idea...I think the answer is YES because not only does the hypothalamus control the stimluation of the release of the sex hormones....but also, you can also have a Hypothalamic disorder that can include a sexual abnormality like premature puberty....This means, if you have an abnormality in your hypothalamus, you can start puberty at a much younger age....Interesting, huh? This tells us just how important the hypothalamus plays in the role of your sexual drive in connection to your hypothalamus, doesn't it? Now, Ueli, is the one that is the expert I am sure in this but I do love to explore it...makes your mind churn... smiles,nancyc
