It is secreted by the Adrenal Gland in response to stress by the Sympathetic Nervous system....Like when you get excited, the Hypothalamus is signaled, which in turn it stimulates the adrenal gland to secrete adrenaline or also called epinephrine. Sorry for the confusion...Same thing , just two names for it...smiles,nancyc
