Hi Gang,
I'd like to run an idea past all of you and see what you think. As we all know, OUCH could sure use some help in the area of raising funds. This is not a solicitation, but perhaps an idea on a way we could all help without needing money to do so.
I've noticed over time that there are several very talented people amongst us. I think we could use those talents and other options to raise funds for OUCH.
Charlie S, this is where your knowledge could help.
What I'm thinking is: What if we were to use ebay?
Say some are artists, scuplters, etc. Or, do you have something around the home you could part with?
My idea is that through the use of ebay, we could sell whatever items we wanted, with the money from the sell being donated to OUCH.
Yes, there are fees on ebay, and shipping would be a cost. However, if we find ourselves low on cash for this, maybe we could put a starting bid high enough to cover these areas? Then send the remaining profits to OUCH?
Charlie, does this sound feasible? (I know Charlie already sells on ebay and would have valuable input.)
How about the rest of us, think this may be a way we could or would want to try to do to help raise OUCH funds? You can sell practically anything on ebay.
Just a thought I've been wondering about and thought I'd toss it out to all of you to see what you think.
Your thoughts?
Dave
