my husband just started taking verapamil 2 nights ago and since we haven't seen any results yet, i thought i'd check the message board to see what everybody else had to say about the stuff. since you've been on it for 11 years, i thought you'd be a good place to start.
he is currently being weaned off depakote, taking 80mgs.of verapamil every 8 hrs around the clock, ( the dr. said her other cluster patients seem to think that works better for them than 240mgs. once a day), taking amerge when it hits hard, sometimes backed up with naproxen, he has lor-tabs for those times in between when he's can't take another amerge yet...the list seems endless.
anyways, i'm wondering when we might see some results, what you think about the dosing, in general what you think about verapamil. this is his worst cycle ever at 7 weeks and counting and i don't want to waste any time correcting the meds, you know?
