I am an RN and I was taught as long as you are the only one using that needle, you will be ok..wipe it off with alcohol after use...the only germs you will get when using it again, would be your own and your body recognizes them..I checked with my DOc on this to make sure when I started doing this and he told me the same thing. As far as how much to use...I have found for myself while others can take 1/3 dose, if I do, then I end up getting up an hour later taking another dose..but if I wake up and have to take an injection and I take 1/2 or the whole injection, I will sleep all nite..this is just for me though. I know alot of people on the board do fine with 1/3 injection..this is something you just have to test for yourself...take care. smile,nancyc
