Thanks Gizi and Richard, it has finally eased up, this one was in my top three for severity. I was taking aspirin for the shadows, to be honest, I felt happy I wasn't having the CHs and I could live with a shadow all the time if I wouldn't ever have another cluster.
Fortunately my best friend in the whole world is an internist, not a specialist in headaches, but I got a correct diagnosis with my second headache (the first one was diagnosed as trigeminal neuritis)and I will always be grateful for that. I have read here how some people get misdiagnosed for years. I think it is as important to educate the medical community as it is the general public. I had another MD tell me CH is "hard to diagnose". I couldn't believe that one.
