I got hit this morning... good thing I backed everything up ywo weeks ago.

The nasty little bug is an email attachment with a .bat, .exe, .com, or .pif exetension. When executed, it copies Scam32.exe to your hard drive, and SirC.exe to your hard drive and all mapped drives, and also modifies the registry.

If you manually delete SirC.exe after the virus is installed, it then prevents you computer from running any applications. It also prevents you from re-installing Windows.
