I had a hearing with the Illinois Secratary of State to get a drivers license. Their position is that a Cluster sufferer cannot safely operate a motor vehicle and poses a threat to themselves and others! Ive only had 2 cycles in my life. I was diagnosed and treated with imitrix and verapimil and soon after the cycle ended! No signs of CH since then! IL.Sec. of States position is that if Im not taking imitrix and verapimil every day and Im not seeing a doc for it "routinely" Im not being "responsible" and pose a further threat! There was a 10 year lapse between my last 2 cycles. I should see a doc every month and stay on verapimil for the rest of my life? What do you think? Its posible that I may never even have another cycle and yet I can never be allowed to operate a motor vehicle! If you are a sufferer and operate a motor vehicle please email me with your thoughts on this. I will have another hearing in a few months.
