CarlD (probably the most stubborn case ever), Graham from England and "Q" were all chronics for 3 years or more. "Q" got initial relief with mushrooms, and used LSD for his followup doses. CarlD and Graham used mushrooms... psilocybe cubensis for CarlD, psilocybe semilanceata (Liberty Cap) for Graham.
Stavi was chronic, or next best thing to it, although only for about a year or so. She used psilocybe cubensis mushrooms for the first time almost exactly a year ago. Six months later when they returned, she took another dose, and just recently (just shy of six months) she took a third dose.
Henk (check his posts just a bit below this) has been chronic for 5 years, and has seen vast improvement in the last 60 hours or so after a very small single dose of LSD. It is still too early to know whether he will need another dose in a few more days, but if he follows the pattern of other chronics, a second slightly larger dose should clear up lingering shadows.
I am pretty sure there are others who were chronic before trying hallucinogens, but I must admit I can't remember their names, so I will stop here.
The point is, it DOES work for chronics.
