It is good to have friends that care enough about you to research clusterheadaches. Two things I would recommed.
1. You did not mention oxygen. It works for many and maybe can keep you from taking too much imitrix. It requires a prescription but most do not have any problems getting one. There are instructions for using that on the left side of this board. Just make sure the regulator will go up to at least a 10 LPM flow...
2. The second thing you may try is a pill called Amerge. It is part of the imitrix family. Many have found that taking a pill before bedtime helps keeps you from waking up every 90 minutes with a cluster. The pill is too slow to work when one has started , but as a nightly preventative, it worked for me and the first night I slept 6 hrs for the first time in weeks.
Good luck and welcome to your support group.
