Maybe you should read your own Bible first?

Mr. Horsten,
Before you go about telling others what the Bible says and for them to dust it off and read it, might I suggest you do the same?
There are many of us in here who believe in God, and in the Bible, but it is far from our place to tell others they suffer because they don't believe, or believers who still suffer CH that they lack faith!
If you've read your Bible, have you read about Paul and his problems? Here is a man of God, ultimately killed for his faith, who even had the gift of healing others through Christ's name.
Yet, Paul had a "thorn in his side" that could not be healed. We don't know exactly what his condition was, but we know it was physical and painful. Could have been CH for all we know.
So, how did Paul handle this, he certainly had enough faith, more than any of us may ever know?
This is from your Bible: II Corinthians 12:9
"For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it may depart from me.
And He said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee, for My strenght is made perfect in weakness."
(My note: Paul could have lost faith, he could have been angry, he could have doubted his faith, he could have taken this many ways. Here is his continuing remarks)
" Most glady therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
Had Paul suffered from CH, I ask you, was it because he lacked enough faith? Hardly, when he wasn't healed, he still gave glory to God.
You may want to read your Bible a bit closer, and be careful about letting those other books tell you what it says.
I'll leave you with this also from your Bible:
Matthew 7:1-5
" Judge not, that ye be not judged.
For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in your brothers eye, but considerest not the beam that is in your own eye?
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and behold, a beam is in thine own eye.
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou shalt see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."

I hope you find peace with yourself and with God, in being "new" to anything, religion or CH, you can't just read a couple posts or a couple verses and think you've got a handle on it, it takes time, and much reading, learning and listening.
Peace,
Dave
