Such a warm introduction :) It feels so good to know I am not alone :)
I am a new bride and already already have placed us in financial crisis due to having to meet the deductible before insurance would take in effect.
I was diagnosed with narcolepsy summer of 99.
Then last year I began having CH's. Doctor after doctor and countless visits to the neurologist ....I felt like a guinea pig they were using for different meds. Currently I am taking 60 mg of adderall for narcolepsy. 10 to 12 excedrin a day then 25 mg of phenergan to keep from throwing it all up. Zanaflex prn and I HATE TAKING MEDS !
I am seeing a chiropractor who is cracking and popping me to the point of being sore to the touch. I am drinking large amounts of water. Eating veggies and having my husband use a "thumper" massager on my back. The pain just gets WORSE !
I have moments of confusion and almost a feeling of everything being surreal.
I think that may be from the pain.
I am keeping a online journal at www.livejournal.com ( a really neat site)
Hoping to find something that will give me a pain free day ...a week :)
There must be a way to beat this beast without creating more problems !!!!
