Dave...if you don't mind me asking, why are you getting off of the Topamax? Did you have problems/side effects from it? Did it quit working for you and if so, how long have you been on it?
I'm presently exploring the possibility of changing from Neurontin to Topamax due to the weight gain I've experienced with the Neurontin(30 lbs. in 3 years).
If I get to the point where I just have to choose between being overweight or living with my ice picks -- I guess I'll start shopping in the Plus sizes...it's a "no brainer" for me!
