But, guess I'm among friends,
I'd love to give this a shot, but I'd need some help getting around a few obstacles. Not sure if you would have advice on this or not.
I'm kind of a small guy, but have spent my life in construction. And damned pride would make me feel I had to be as good as or better than all the "big" guys. This took it's toll over the years. Before I knew I had CH, I went to Chiropractors for these outrageous headaches. One after another agreed I had systematically "locked" up muscles. Starting in the wrist. Once they locked up, my arm was forced to use different muscles which soon locked up, and they told two friends, and they told two friends, etc. until finally I was actually using neck muscles to do work my arm muscles were supposed to be doing. So, as strange as this may sound, relaxation is a trigger for me for a CH attack! I don't move my head side to side or ever lay down during cycle. I look pretty darned stupid walking or sitting around the house with this pillow thingy that looks like a hemoroid pillow around my neck all the time. Sleep siting up with it on too, to keep my head from moving from side to side. (oh yeah ... I've walked right out in public forgeting it was there, opened the knock at the door, wondering why all the strange looks! LOL) And forget massages, instant trigger for attack. Stiff as a board I is! Left side of body not so bad under biceps. Feet, wife will try to massage them, says shes barely rubbing spots that'll make me almost hit the ceiling.
So, I've got an open mind, I hate drugs anyway, would like to find an option before I fall completely in love with the nasal spray!
Got an idea on where to concentrate or focus an area? (Good thing Johnny's in Atlanta on that question!) I'll seriuosly give it a shot, if you think there's a chance I can do it?
Thanks,
Dave
