Hi Zman,
I've recently gotten a new neurologist who has put me on a new medication program. Topamax was on the list.
She is intoducing it very slowly into my system, I wonder if this method is the same as yours?
"Take 1 tablet at bedtime for one week.
Then take 1 tablet twice daily for one week.
Then take 1 tablet at every morning and 2 tablets at night for a week. (Where I'm at now).
Then take 2 tablets twice daily."
So far I have noticed no change or side effects whatsoever. My wife says I sneeze a lot soon after I take them, but I think my sneezing has been an ongoing result of the Imitrex nasal spray I was also given.
To this point, I don't think the Topamax has done anything at all good or bad. But, don't really have that much in my system yet. I do prefer the slow entry into the system though, which was not done by other doctors with other drugs I thought were going to kill me, and lead me to to quit all meds for quite a while.
BTW, these are 25MG tabs, are you on the same dosage and same method of system introduction?
