Get to a nuerolgist. Print out the information on this site that describes the pain and the symptoms of CH to take with you. Get the usual tests (Brain scan, CT, EEG) out of the way to make sure that it is a vascular problem. Then get some imitrex. It is the only med that takes the pain away without making you "out of it" It is non-narcotic. Also, try vigorous excercise when you feel them coming on. Just recently I discovered that if I go out and run just a half mile at full speed it can abort the headache for that moment. Get help now, do not wait until it ruins your life. Good luck.
