during the headache? Excedrin probably takes 15 to 20 minutes to really work. I wonder if it's the Excedrin or just that the attack is over. Excedrin has almost no effect on a cluster. No over the counter painkiller is very useful.
The dietary question comes up frequently. Personally, I don't buy the dietary theory yet. A lot of us have tried this kind of thing with little success. If that were the case, the board would be nothing but dietary information.
Even if this is not clusters, get your parents to read this site. They need to know the kind of pain you endure. See a neurologist now! They will give you some tests and eliminate other possiblities. So much that you write sounds like clusters. They key for me is: can you lie still or in bed during the attack? If you can, you'd be about the only one who can.
