Lynn's suggestions do merit consideration. I too have "run off" a cluster headache. I've only been successful at aborting them when I felt the beast sneaking-up from behind. I've probably been either too lazy or groggy to even think about getting up a 'dark-thirty' to try aerobic exercises, but that is certainly a consideration. I'm 55, and have had the beast in the family since age 7. I'm currently on the down side of my last episode, which seems to be now about 3 months long, with anywhere from 1 to 5 a day. I have, prior to this last 'run' had a year-or-so off for good behavior (smile). Best wishes to all
