You have got yourself a spirited, playful, and loving cat. The best kind. This pet will give you LOTS of good laughs and fond memories and you will love it. Some cats can be like that.
When I was young in the 60's we had a cat like that and she was a female, back in the days before neutering. She had seven litters of about five kitties each time and we always had little kitties running and jumping all over. They would each look different and develop personalities before we had to give them away, and never had a problem giving them all away each time.
Cats have great hunting instincts, and is probably reacting to the movement of your fingers on the keyboard. Really glad to hear about your new kitty. Sounds like a relationship any clusterhead can use. Lucky you August.
