First off I would like to complement this website in seemingly creating such a supportive community of people from around the world. Its nice to see such a genuine site with message boards that are actually used on a daily basis!
I believe I had a cluster headache last night for the first time. All the symptoms seem to match, localized pain behind my right eye, (excruciating pain!) which lasted for about 90 minutes. It scared the (*&^ out of my wife and I.
I am a 31 year old healthy happy male and I have never experienced anything close to last night. There is no history of migraines in my family history. The only headaches I can remember having were from hangovers, which were trivial compared to last night. It happened totally out of the blue and now I am wondering if it will happen again.
Does anyone know whether I should expect more bouts? Can it be a one time occurance due to a high amount of stress? Or is it most likely the beginning of something more regular? Any input would be very much appretiated.
