you have to try it for more than just one day. My husband did it for one week and noticed a difference after two days of doing it, and his cycle was totally gone after the week. He started the treatment at the peak of his cycle, so we know that it would have been another 3 - 4 weeks before he was due to finish.
It is very difficult to drink that much water and you do have to be careful if you have any other underlying medical conditions, such as liver or kidney problems. It's a good idea too, to take a multi-vitamin while you're trying it, because the water does wash you out, literally, and therefore you could lose stuff you need. It drastically changes your salts balance and I think that's a big reason why it works for some people to end their cycles.
Another thing we've learned is that the water treatment probably won't work for people who are on other meds. You'd best check with your doctor before starting it, becuase if you are on other meds, you will wash those out of your system too.
As to your employment question, you will find that a lot of people here are self-employed and/or work from home. It gives them a lot more flexibility than they would normally get, working for someone else.
