Sounds like you may indeed have clusters. Is the level of pain during an attack extremely severe? Is the pain always in the same place, such as behind an eye? Do your attacks come at approx. the same time(s) of the day every day? If the answers to these questions are all "yes," then there's a strong probability that you suffer from cluster headaches. Yes, you should see a doctor - preferably a neurologist. Possible remedies for relief from cluster headaches abound in this board, but remember: what works for Tom may not work for Dick or Harry! I have found that Sansert is an excellent preventative medication for clusters, while inhalation of pure oxygen is an effective abortive remedy. Good Luck, Benny
