Want to know what is addictive? It's these damn cigarettes that the government just recieved a 226 billion dollar tax benefit from. It is nothing more than that. They know that we are addicted to them. They know that they can raise taxes on them even more now then before. They know that the tobacco pushers will be able to pass the "law suit tax" on to the addicted users.
They also know that pot is NOT the addictive monster they make it up to be, therefore they would rather keep the cancer causing tobacco dealers rich, the attorneys rich, and themselves rich, than face facts and do what is right. (anyone ever think that the amish are hypocrites because they continue to grow a product that kills? Shouldn't the government be suing them, and all the tobacco growers, because they grow the stuff, instead of giving them handouts? Am I venting steam here where I shouldn't be?) Well, I'm sorry for running off on a tangent here, but back to my follow-up, yes, if it helps more than it hurts, then more power to you.
