Hi all Cluster Sufferers...
I posted an enquiry last year when considering some very expensive dental rebuilding to try to help my clusters (October/November anually for 7 to 10 weeks for last 25 years).
The replies were mainly ALL negative such as... don't waste your money... been there, done that, never worked... etc, etc, etc.
An update: I had the work done (nerve severence, jawline/bite rebuilding, various teeth removed and crowned - about £5,000 worth ($8,000). It's now almost March 2001, 17 monthas after the start of the last cluster, 4 months post usual Cluster dates and NO, repeat NO clusters for the first time in 25 years. It's still early days, and the treatment was at the suggestion of a very emininent UK Doctor, carried out privately in London, England by a top Dental Surgeon - BOTH OF WHOM UNDERSTAND Cluster Headches!!!
I know it's early days still but it's looking promising so far. Any UK sufferers who want to know more, or anyone willing to travel to the UK for treatment please send an email to pbprivate.theme@btinternet.com and I'll gladlay send more details.
This 'aint no bull. It's 100% genuine. And if I get to the year end with still no attacks then God help our NHS because I'll see them court to make them pay for what they called "un-necessary cosmetic surgery"!!!
Don't forget, it is early days still but so far so good!
