I don't know if my story fits. After reading some of the posts, my prayers each and every day will be for you people.
I have had these headaches from about the age of 20, I am 38 now. They started off light stabing pain somewhere deep in my head on the right side. The pain would last for a few minutes and go away. These attacks would occur two to thre times an hour for several days. Then months of freedom from it.
As I got older the attacks got worse. I get running nose, watery eye, blam a knife through my head, it is a pulsating pain that when in full force drives me to my knees. Sometimes I can continue on with my life--the pain is managable. I wince and shake, yet move on. Other times I feel it coming, and I hids from people and light. My doctor tells me tylenol and motrin maximum doses, and that there is no real proof that what these are are anything but normal headaches.
Am I whiny, cause these things tear at my soul when they hit. The last break was for 18 months. it was bliss! Now I am in day 5 and the depression is setting in. I am taking what I can to sleep. (luckily) for me the attacks come more in the late morning.
What are these headaches? Do they keep getting worse as I get older? I mean I get really dizzy now on top of the pain. Does it get worse? help. help. help.
