Hey Dan,
Some of your symptoms sound like a possible cluster and some do not. When you say "doctor", are you refering to a family type doctor? Because if you are you're not going to get much help, if any from him or her. I think that the best thing you can do for yourself is to go to a neurologist. Have you checked out the FANTASTIC information about cluster headaches on this sites homepage? The answers to many of the questions that I'm sure you must have can be found there.
