Hey anon -
There are more pot users out there than the government(s) would like to acknowledge. We're a pretty average cross-section of society. Your son is not a "typical" user, if there even is such a thing. I know of judges, real estate brokers, writers, teachers, bartenders, singers, actors, politicians (local and national), pillars of the community as well as losers who have used or do use regularly. It's just like booze or any other vice; some people can use and have a normal, productive life, and some can't. It only has a bad reputation because it's illegal, but I wonder how many more lives have been ruined by alcohol or prescription drugs like valium or painkillers.
I don't mean to go off on a nut, I just wish people would realize it's not the evil thing that the powers-that-be make it out to be.
