Hello everybody and thank you all for the helpful information that gets posted on this messageboard including a special thanks to the person who set this up.
My personal CH, everyone seems to have their own version of it, shows up every 18-20 months and culminates in a week or so of pain to point where I throw up. This pain markes the top of my ride. Doctor put me on Lithium but I refuse to take more than 600mg per day due to the sideeffects and the fact that when I was taking 900mg per day, I kept throwing up anyway. The lower dose seems to help before and after the top period but walking in a haze on 900mg kinda sucks when it does not help at that point anyway.
No to my question. I am about to exit my current CH experience and try to go on with my life making some career changes but after reading this board I am grateful for the fact that it could have been worse, sorry to say this to those who suffer more than me, no offense. I have tried Imipramine but my period is relatively short so all I have time to get is side effects. I am now going to go to the doctor and ask for Imitrex, seems to work for many on this board and I guess there are some sideffects but those seem to be personal too. Is this a bad decision? I am only 26 years old and my career, finance, kinda does not accept 2 weeks away from work even if I am throwing up every other day.
Thank you all for being here........hope we all forget about this website not far from now on account of cures.
Gotta get a tear proof keyboard soon :o)
