Life is frequently governed by the 80/20 principle (or is it 70/30?) – 80% of an outcome is determined by 20% of the input. 80% of the world’s wealth is controlled by 20% of its population… 80% of alcohol consumed is purchased by 20% of the drinkers. In any given church, 80% of the collection taken up is usually contributed by 20% of the congregation. I would venture to say that 80% of the posts on this site are made by 20% of its visitors. So what does it all mean? To quote someone from way back…”It don’t mean s*&$#!” The site will continue when people come and go, and the ones who matter will hang around. The ones who don’t will go their merry way, and some will drop in, and tell us about the latest and greatest treatment for CH that their Aunt Sadie in Peoria tried and cured those cluster-migraine things. Most of the information I’ve gotten from this site is available elsewhere, but you guys are the ones who keep me coming back… the 20%. Giving for giving’s sake is its own reward. Giving with the expectation of receiving something in return, in this life, sets one up for a huge dissappointment.
