I am on lithium now. I have been on it for 2 weeks. I am sleeping close to 16 hours a day. I am hoping it wears off real soon. I was on vepramil awhile ago but needed to go off due to side effects. It did lower my blood pressure at first and then it went back to normal. Later on I needed to take another medicine that also lowered my bp and I just couldn't be on the two together because I was faiting etc. She should call her dr. and see if it is low enough to be conserned about. Maybe verapamil isn't the medicine for her. I am on Lithium and topamax combination. There are other options out there.
