I took 7 years to get through school on a 4 year degree. Everyone around me thought I was crazy, unmotivated, just plain no good, and who knows what else? It wasn't until after I graduated (nearly 3 years, I think) that I even found out there was a such thing as a cluster headache. I ended up repeating about half of my required classes, withdrew at least half a dozen times, and spent alot of extra money that I wouldn't have had to spend had I known about aggressive preventative and abortive meds. I, personally, would only attempt to take care of one major problem at a time. For me, taking classes while simultaneously battling the beast was a waste of time. There are alot of valuable resources here. Check out all the available resources here. You won't get alot of support from your family unless you can make them fully aware of the pain we endure. I hope you can find relief.
