i bought regular vlasic pickles..i saved the juice after i finished the pickles. peeled a pound of fresh garlic, trimmed the end. i boiled the juice, dropped the peeled garlic in it.let it go back to boil for a minute. let it cool down and then poured it back into the jar(which i had filled with very hot tap water until i was ready to pour the garlic back)..put into the fridge to call.. give it a day or so to absorb the flavor of the juice..than enjoy..
